Project cargo logistics demands a fundamentally different approach from standard freight forwarding. Oversized, overweight, and out-of-gauge (OOG) shipments require detailed engineering, precise route planning, specialized equipment, and coordination with multiple regulatory authorities. Inter Logistics A.Ş. project cargo division has delivered complex industrial shipments for energy, construction, mining, and manufacturing sectors across Turkey and internationally.

**What Qualifies as Project Cargo?**

Project cargo typically involves: - Industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment (presses, CNC machines, turbines) - Energy infrastructure components (transformer units, wind turbine components, oil & gas equipment) - Construction equipment (cranes, excavators, tunnel boring machines) - Factory relocation shipments - Prefabricated building modules - Vessels, ship sections, and yacht transport

**Pre-Transport Engineering**

Our project engineers conduct thorough pre-shipment assessments: - Dimensional and weight surveys of the cargo - Route feasibility studies for road transport (bridge weight limits, tunnel clearances, overhead obstacles) - Sea route evaluation for breakbulk or heavy-lift vessel selection - Securing scheme design compliant with IMO and road transport regulations

**Permitting & Escort Coordination**

Oversize road transport in Turkey and internationally requires special movement permits (TKGM permits in Turkey, route-specific permits in each transit country). We coordinate police escorts, pilot cars, and utility clearances (power line lifting, traffic management) across all required corridors.

**Heavy-Lift Equipment**

For lifting and loading super-heavy pieces, we coordinate with certified crane operators and heavy-lift marine operators. We arrange self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT), multi-axle trailers, and heavy-lift vessels as required.

**Marine Operations**

For out-of-gauge cargo that cannot be containerized, we arrange breakbulk vessel space, multipurpose general cargo vessels, or dedicated semi-submersible heavy-lift vessels. We handle all stowage planning, securing, and port coordination.
